Equipment rental: the checklist for a flawless reception
Chairs, tables, tableware, lighting: the complete list of what to plan for (and the traps to avoid) when renting your party equipment.

Planning your celebration yourself and renting the equipment? Great idea for the budget — as long as nothing is forgotten. Here is the checklist we use for every reception.
The furniture
- Tables: count 8 to 10 guests per 180 cm round table;
- Chairs: plan 5% extra — there are always surprise guests;
- Extra furniture: buffet, bar, lounge corner, gift table.
The table
- Tableware: plates (×2 if several courses), glasses (water + wine + bubbles), cutlery;
- Linens and cloth napkins — they make all the difference in photos;
- Centrepieces: vases, candlesticks, tealight holders.
Lighting, the forgotten item
It works the magic after 9pm: festoon lights, lanterns, buffet lighting. Check the electrical capacity available on site.
The classic traps
Delivery booked on the wrong day, forgotten deposit, no rain plan B, teardown at 8am the next morning… Ask these questions before signing.
